Terms of service

Template — have it reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

Last updated: 2026-10-25. These terms are an agreement between you and Nixelion Ltd, Triq Sir Joseph Carbone 16, STJ 1323 Saint Julian's, Malta, Commercial register no. pending registration (“we”).

1. The service

WeGet delivers information derived from public records such as building permits and business licenses (“Leads”) by email and through a dashboard, email marketing tools (“Marketing”, section 7d) and a directory of local businesses with quote requests (“Connections”, section 7f). The lead service is for businesses only: by using it you confirm that you act for a business and not as a consumer. Contractor lists (section 7a) may also be bought by consumers. These terms also apply to free samples. You accept them when you press “Accept” on our website, which is required before any Leads are shown, and again when you subscribe.

2. Permitted use

Leads may be used only for lawful business marketing: direct mail, door-to-door visits where allowed, and contacting the businesses named on permits. You may not use Leads to make decisions about anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment or housing, to harass or locate a person, or for any unlawful purpose, and you may not resell or republish Leads.

3. Your responsibility for contact laws

You are solely responsible for complying with all laws that apply to how you contact people, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the National Do Not Call Registry, CAN-SPAM, and local solicitation ordinances.

4. Data protection

Leads can include information about identifiable people, for example a home address. We are established in the European Union and handle Leads under the GDPR; you receive them as an independent controller and are responsible for your own use. You agree to:

  • use Leads only as section 2 allows, keep them secure, and share them only with your staff and service providers (such as a print-and-mail service) who need them for that use;
  • delete an address from your lists and stop contacting it within 10 days after we tell you it was removed (we email you when that happens) or after the person asks you directly;
  • delete Leads you no longer need, and in any case 12 months after you received them, unless the person has become your customer;
  • tell us without delay if Leads are lost, stolen or accessed without permission.

Standard Contractual Clauses

If you are located outside the European Economic Area and no EU adequacy decision covers you — this is the case for businesses in the United States unless they are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework — the Standard Contractual Clauses in the Annex to Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914, Module One (controller to controller), are part of these terms for any personal data in Leads, however you receive them: by email, in the dashboard or as a download. We are the data exporter and you are the data importer. Accepting these terms, on our website or by subscribing, counts as signing the clauses and their annexes on that date.

  • Choices: the optional docking clause (Clause 7) and the optional wording in Clause 11 do not apply. The clauses are governed by the law of Malta (Clause 17), and its courts have jurisdiction (Clause 18).
  • Annex I.A, parties: the exporter is Nixelion Ltd, Triq Sir Joseph Carbone 16, STJ 1323 Saint Julian's, Malta, contact contact@weget.online, which sells Leads. The importer is you, with the name and email address of your account or sample request, a business that uses Leads for its own marketing. Both act as controllers.
  • Annex I.B, the transfer: the data subjects are owners and occupants of properties named in permits and people named as contractors. The data are property addresses, permit details and contractors' business contact details; no sensitive data. We collect and sort the records and send them to you; you store them and use them to contact the property or the contractor. The transfer is continuous while you subscribe and happens once for a free sample. The purpose is the use section 2 allows, the retention period is the one in this section, and your service providers may handle the data only for that purpose and that period.
  • Annex I.C: the competent supervisory authority is Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), https://idpc.org.mt.
  • Annex II, security: you keep Leads in systems protected by access controls and passwords, limit access to people who need it, send them only over encrypted connections, and delete them as this section requires.

If these terms and the clauses conflict, the clauses prevail. Property owners can enforce the clauses against you and us as third-party beneficiaries.

How we handle your own data is described in our privacy policy.

5. Accuracy

Leads come from third-party public records and are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that any Lead is accurate, complete or results in business.

6. Subscription, trial and cancellation

Plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. The 7-day trial converts to a paid plan unless cancelled before it ends. One free trial per customer. You can cancel anytime in your billing settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices include any applicable taxes: the price shown is the price you pay.

7. Lead guarantee

If your selected categories produce fewer than 20 Leads in your first 30 days as a paying customer, contact us within 14 days after that period for a refund of that month.

7c. Lead packs

A lead pack is a one-time purchase of a stated number of Leads for one city, for businesses only; it does not renew. Right after payment we unlock the newest Leads that match your settings (categories, ZIP codes, minimum value) from the last 30 days, then add new matching Leads as permits are issued, until the pack is full or 30 days have passed. You never receive the same Lead twice. If the pack is not full by then, we automatically refund the price of the Leads not delivered, pro rata. If a property owner has an address removed, the Lead leaves your pack and, while the pack runs, is replaced. Leads stay in your account as long as we keep the underlying data (90 days); sections 2 to 4 apply to them.

7a. Contractor lists

A contractor list names the companies that were recorded as the contractor on building permits for one type of work in one city during the period stated on the list, with the business contact details, license numbers, job counts and reported project values taken from those permits. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: you pay the price shown before checkout, and the list is delivered by email and kept in your account for 12 months. You may use it to choose and contact contractors for your own projects or for your business; you may not resell or republish it. A listing is not a recommendation: we do not check the quality, licensing or insurance of any company, and project values are those reported to the city. Because the list is digital content delivered right after payment, you ask us at checkout to deliver it at once and acknowledge that you then lose any right to withdraw from the purchase. If we cannot deliver a list you paid for, we refund it in full.

7b. Company listings

A company can buy a listing in one contractor list (one city and one type of work) for a one-time fee; it is shown for the period stated at purchase and does not renew by itself. Listings are for businesses only. You confirm that you may act for the company and that the details, license number and prices you give are accurate and lawful, and you are responsible for them and for keeping them up to date. Your listing is marked “Added by the company” and shown apart from the ranking by permitted jobs, which cannot be bought. We may refuse, shorten or remove a listing that is inaccurate, misleading or unlawful, with a pro-rata refund unless the listing broke these terms. A company that asks to be removed from our lists is also removed from its listing.

7d. Marketing (email you send to your contacts)

With the Marketing or Growth plan you send email to your own contacts from your own domain through our platform (we use Amazon Simple Email Service). You are the sender of that email and responsible for its content and for having every recipient's permission. You agree to our acceptable use policy, which is part of these terms. Each plan includes the number of emails per month stated at checkout; emails beyond it are billed per 1,000 at the price stated at checkout with your next invoice (never during a free trial, and not while a payment is overdue: then sending waits for the next month). New senders start with a lower daily limit that grows over their first sending days. To protect deliverability for all customers we pause sending automatically when more than 2% of recent emails bounce or more than 0.08% are reported as spam, or after repeated abuse reports, and tell you why; we may suspend sending for breaches of the acceptable use policy. Every email contains your business's name and postal address and a one-click unsubscribe link that we honour for your business at once; you may not remove them. Addresses that bounce permanently are blocked for all customers; addresses that complain or unsubscribe are blocked for your business.

7e. Data processing terms for your contacts

For the contacts you upload or collect with our signup forms, you are the controller and we are your processor (Article 28 GDPR). These terms are our data processing agreement:

  • Subject and duration: storing your contacts, sending your email and recording deliveries, opens, clicks, bounces, complaints and unsubscribes, for as long as you use Marketing, plus the deletion period below.
  • Data and people: email addresses, names, birthdays (day and month) and tags of your customers and subscribers, the consent record (time, form or import, IP address) and email activity. No sensitive data may be uploaded.
  • Instructions: we process the data only to provide Marketing as you configure it, and on your documented instructions (these terms and your settings); we tell you if we believe an instruction is unlawful.
  • Confidentiality and security: only staff who need access have it, under confidentiality; data is encrypted in transit, consent IP addresses and messages are encrypted at rest, and access is protected by two-factor authentication for our administrators.
  • Sub-processors: our hosting provider (Germany), Amazon Web Services (email sending, United States), and our transactional email provider for confirmation emails. We tell you 14 days before adding or replacing one; you can object by cancelling. Transfers to the United States rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the Standard Contractual Clauses (Module Three where we are a processor).
  • Assistance: we help you answer data subject requests (you can export, unsubscribe and delete contacts yourself at any time) and with security, breach notification (we tell you without undue delay, within 48 hours of becoming aware) and impact assessments.
  • Deletion: when you delete a contact, it is gone at once (its address stays only as a block entry so it can't be re-added by mistake). When your plan ends, we delete your contacts and email activity after 90 days, unless you ask earlier; you can export them before.
  • Audits: we make available the information needed to show compliance, and allow audits by you or an auditor you appoint, with 30 days' notice, at your cost, at most once a year.

7f. Connections (directory, alerts and quote requests)

Any business may request quotes for free. With the Connections or Growth plan your business is listed in our directory with the details you choose to show, receives alerts about new businesses and projects that match what you offer, and is invited to answer quote requests. A paid listing never buys a higher rank. Messages are relayed through our platform: neither side sees the other's email address unless they choose to share it. Rate limits apply. You agree to describe your business truthfully, to answer requests in good faith, and not to use the directory or messages for spam, scams or harassment. We do not check the licenses, insurance or quality of any business; agreements are made directly between the businesses. Profiles, requests or messages that several people report are hidden until we review them, and we may suspend accounts that break these terms.

7g. Playbooks

A playbook is a one-time purchase of email templates, subject lines and a calendar for your own business. You may adapt and send them as often as you like; you may not resell or republish them as templates. Because a playbook is digital content delivered right after payment, you ask us at checkout to deliver it at once and acknowledge that you then lose any right to withdraw. If a payment is refunded, the playbook leaves your account; templates you imported stay yours.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or end your access if you break sections 2 to 4, 7d, 7f or the acceptable use policy. Sections 2 to 4 continue to apply to Leads you keep after your subscription or lead pack ends.

9. Liability and indemnity

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. You will indemnify us against claims, fines and costs that result from your use of Leads in breach of these terms or of the law.

10. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms with 14 days' notice by email. These terms are governed by the law of Malta, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: contact@weget.online.

Please accept these three once.
